Behavior modification can include:

What can you expect?
Behavior modification looks different for every dog
No dog training program is one size fits all, and behavior modification training is no exception to that.
The success and speed of a behavior training plan is dependent on the dog owner's commitment to training, the severity of the issue, the individual dog, the potential need for veterinary prescribed medications. Owners should be prepared that behavior training may come with an open-ended time frame.
Referral to a Veterinarian or Veterinary Behaviorist may be necessary in some cases.

About this lesson:
**First available in-person behavior assessment lessons are in August 2022**
To begin behavior modification training, you and your dog will meet with your trainer for an initial behavioral assessment. We will come to you, or meet you and your dog. This assessment will allow the trainer to evaluate your dog’s behaviors, environmental factors and work hands-on with your dog to appropriately assess their behavior concerns. This information will allow your trainer to construct a customized training program for your dog’s needs. Your trainer will conclude your dog’s assessment with an overview of your dog's behaviors, initial plan layout, and provide you with the information you need to get started on a Behavioral Package.
This assessment is required to begin a behavioral program.
